Established in 1991, Moonstar’s original location in San Francisco is an upscale restaurant with an elegant and relaxing atmosphere. Now with a second restaurant in Daly City, enjoy lively and pleasant surroundings. The concept of Moonstar restaurant is food-driven, with a menu that offers a broad selection of cuisine, including:

Where are you going to eat unlimited salmon sushi, california rolls, tuna rolls, chinese dim sum, garlic crab, spicy chicken, fried rice, veggie noodles, ice cream, cream cakes, fruit salad, butter cookies (which by the way, cost me about $12 for a bag at Sogo Bakery) for this price?  the service is competent, and unobtrusive. 

This is the place to dine if you have small children.  Or you really really like your dining mates, as you can snack, chat a little bit, then go back for more.  As we do, we finish dessert and catch up on all the news and gossip, and then we do it all over again, so our lunches take about 2 1/2 hours, an excellent lazy Sunday. Oh, and they give the kids free balloons which is a big plus.  The only thing you have to do is monitor your kids’ dessert intake (or your own!) Go and give it a try.  the cappuccino and coffees aren’t Starbucks but after 4-5 of them and the chocolate dipped strawberries, you’ll be delighted by the moonstar experience.  I’m considering throwing my next birthday party there!"
